He really didn't have any guesses on how Mirror Xion or Mirror Namine would behave. It didn't occur to him that Mirror Xion might look different. Right now, it really didn't matter. What did matter is that he wasn't in any immediate danger. But now that his curiosity was piqued, he needed to at least get some confirmation that they weren't mirrored. He could allow himself to pass out after that.
The look on Namine's face was a good clue. She'd been tense, apparently, possibly fearing he was mirrored. He didn't know yet what had given her reason to relax, but whatever it was he couldn't say he had any problems with it. If she was relieved that he wasn't mirrored, well, the feeling was mutual.
Anything he might have wanted to say at this point came out as a brainless mumble.
As far as injuries went, bruises and scrapes were dominant. His left wrist hurt like hell and was bruised to crap on top of that. He really hoped it wasn't broken. Other than that, he knew for a fact he had a few cracked ribs. He wasn't sure if his difficulty maintaining consciousness was exhaustion from the fight or a head injury or both. Other than that, a split lip and his nose was bleeding, but he was pretty sure that wasn't broken. The most he could do now was lie still and let Xion and Namine check him over.
