Possibly. He wouldn't mind, though either way he'd be glad to open her eyes and take her wonder by wonder.
"No," he began softly. "That's beautiful." And indeed it was. The soft warm glow of the lanterns against the blue and purple sky complemented each other. It was a play of light and darkness, just as there was one now. The area was gently bathed in the last rays of the sun, contrasting cooler shadows with the brighter oranges and golds on their surroundings, clothes and skin.
Riku was no stranger to the feeling like his heart may burst. The last time, however, was a very negative set of circumstances. But this... This simply filled him with an overwhelming desire to act on his emotions. Still, Namine needed to be the one to let him. He wanted that for her...
And so he lifted his face a little, leaning closer before planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. When Riku leaned back, he peered right into her face with a smile that looked somewhere between looking like he got away with something and that of wonder. He watched for her reaction.
