[Pinkie's announcement after Discord's defeat wasn't just hot air. As soon as five minutes after the chaos god's last cry echoed throughout the ship, there's already music blaring out the open doors of the recreation deck. As if in defiance of Discord's attack on her there, Pinkie's filled the place with even MORE balloons than typical for one of her parties. Above the main refreshment table - which is clearly the one with the biggest cake on it - there's a few banners. The topmost one reads SO LONG DISCORD! Right below it is a smaller one saying SORRY FOR BEING A MEANIE. The bottom one is a little larger and written in a different color HAPPY LATE HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY! In all the chaos, she'd completely FORGOTTEN a holiday; could you believe it? But she was totally going to make it up now, with a party to beat all parties!]

"Hey. I'm fine, thanks. Maybe a little sore, but it's nothing big."

He was probably downplaying it a little bit, but he doubted a few bruises would slow him down too much if something else came up.

Namine nodded. "Hopefully things will be quiet for a while, right?"

She knew him well enough to know he's probably playing it down, but decided not to remark on that.

"Hopefully. I dunno if I trust our luck, but I don't think it can get any worse than what we just went through. I guess we'll see what happens."

He nibbled at his snacks, thinking. It was kind of troubling the way that dragon guy had appeared with all of his powers intact. Did it mean that other villains could potentially show up like that? He shuddered at the thought, but decided it might be better not to bring it up at the party. Maybe after the party, he'd mention it. For now, he was going to enjoy his snacks and watch people possibly make fools of themselves with party games or that karaoke machine.

"Strange things do seem to happen here, don't they?"

She could guess that something was bothering him, but decided it might be best to leave it up to him to bring it up. They'd all had a rough time lately, and it was nice to have a chance to just enjoy a party.

"I wonder if anything interesting will happen at this party."

"There's a bunch of nuts together in one room. Of course something interesting is going to happen." Mostly, he was expecting someone to make an ass of his- or herself and since the Bots hadn't been involved in preparing the food, it would likely be their own fault. Ultimately, such unaided tomfoolery would probably be more amusing.

Namine tilted her head to one side in thought. "I guess so."

'Interesting' probably hadn't been the right word to use, now that she thought about it. Usually when things like what happened at the Christmas Party came up, she became more worried/embarrassed for those involved than amused.

"On the plus side, at least everyone's in their right mind."

No, Roxas could agree that a repeat of the Christmas party or similar events wouldn't be a good thing.

"True. I think Pinkie Pie made all the food, so there shouldn't be any problems there."

She was willing to overlook the 'bots lack of skill cooking, and she didn't hold grudges, but not labeling the Waters of Forgetfulness was a mistake of a certain magnitude.

"Yeah, I kind of figured that, although... I do wonder how she got this together so fast."

Roxas was still annoyed with the Bots for the simple fact that they seemed to think they were totally blameless in the whole thing. If they would have owned up to their mistake and apologized, they wouldn't have cemented a place in his mind as a couple of untrustworthy idiots.

Pinkie Pie's skill at throwing a great party at the drop of a hat was definitely something to be wondered at. "I'm not sure; she did say parties were her special talent."

Namine had entertained thoughts of investigating to see if there was any of the Waters of Forgetfulness left, so the container could be properly labeled and stored. The main flaw in that plan was that that would require someone potentially drinking said liquid to verify that fact. Volunteers were likely to be few, and she didn't want to force anyone.

"Yeah. Then again, she can appear in random places at if teleporting. I'm beginning wonder if her special talent somehow includes bending all the laws of physics." The incident where Pinkie Pie had appeared in Riku's dresser drawer came to mind. Roxas had fallen off his bed laughing and thinking of it now even made him smile.

As to what Namine was thinking about the Waters of Forgetfulness, he'd help her with that if she asked... either as the one to test it or in helping her keep an eye on whoever ended up testing it. If she asked. He wasn't going to offer.

"Maybe it does." Namine smiled at the thought, not sure of which event he was thinking of.

She probably wasn't going to ask anyone; she didn't like the idea of asking people to volunteer for something like that. Said reluctance was why that necessity was a snag in her idea. She couldn't try it if she didn't ask anyone.

"It might explain why she can still do it when everyone else has been stripped on any powers." It didn't occur to him that she might be puzzled about his mirth, but he would have gladly told her what was so funny if she asked him. For the moment, he watched the other party goers.

That was probably for the better. Roxas screwed up like that might be a frightening thing...

"I hadn't thought of that, but it might be so." Namine nodded, settling in to people watch with Roxas.
