Terra twirled some pasta on his fork as he waited for Ven. He wondered which of them should go first. He realized Ven's question was the perfect segway but Terra was reluctant to be the one to start this conversation.

"Not much, just the constant singing thing is still going on," he paused and then lifted the fork to his mouth, "Aqua and I wanted to talk to you about something too. It's just never really been a good time until...now I guess." He then took a bite. It was totally NOT a ploy to get Aqua to continue the conversation by having his mouthful. Well, okay, maybe a little one. But he felt like Aqua would be better at breaking this to Ven.
