"If you know that much, than I would say that you still can feel some emotion," MakubeX replied softly. To be honest, her response had been better than he had calculated. It wasn't a rejection and he hadn't scared her off.

"But I understand." He looked up and gave her a tiny smile. "Nothing has to change. I'm happy with how things are as is. I just... thought it would be less awkward in the future if I let you know now." Of course he knew such an admission would change things in some way. It was just the nature of it.

"If you find things change in the future... well, we can go from there."
