Riku lifted an eyebrow when those tattoos began to glow. The water eel got that other brow to raise, and he watched in awe as it moved around them. A smirk slowly slid over his features. “Your ‘not much’ was more impressive than a guy Sora had to fight back home.” He thumbed back to his friend. Demyx could have only dreamed of doing that. “That was impressive.”
“My turn.” Riku stepped to the side near a tree, having come prepared. From his pocket he pulled a black strip of cloth and he blindfolded himself. He raised his hand and extended another almost invitingly, his Keyblade forming in a congregation of bright blue sparks. He turned back to the others as if he weren’t blindfolded at all.
“Nobody move. ...I mean it, don’t.”
The youth drew back his weapon and the immediate area darkened. He rushed ahead, vanishing into a dark portal only to appear on the other side of the group, speeding forward. Riku rushed all around them, blinking in and out of existence until he appeared in the air near the tree, forcefully plunging Way to the Dawn into the ground. Blasts of dark energy erupted from the ground, and Riku drew back his Keyblade one last time. His weapon lengthened, a huge glowing blade covering his sword. Turning, he effortlessly swung it through the trunk of the tree, which promptly crashed to the ground.
The extra blade vanished, and he held open his palm to reveal a blue-white fireball for a brief second before snuffing it out. Riku smirked, slinging his Keyblade over his shoulder. That was fun.
