The fact that no one was directly questioning their intentions went a long way towards soothing Ienzo's lingering discomfort at the whole idea in general. It wasn't gone, precisely, but it made things easier to find that people really weren't asking and whether that was due more to the time of day or Aeleus' physical presence was something he wasn't going to answer. Knowing the answer would take the mystery out of it, leaving it to just be another fragile excuse.
