Perry had seen Phineas and Ferb play enough RPGs to get the gist of what was going on. True he was usually called away for a mission at some point in the game (usually before Phineas and Ferb started messing or modifying it) but he still knew the basics of how these things worked.

Besides, an adventure with Phineas? Why would he turn that opportunity down? He had to enjoy these moments while he could since he still didn't know how OWCA was going to take all of this. But, that was future Perry's problem.
