Namine gave a slightly surprised smile when he took hold of her hand and squeezed it. It seemed only right to return the squeeze before looking back out the window, but she didn't let go.
As they left the Satellite, she was glad she hadn't. She found herself squeezing his hand at the speed that made her sit back even further in her seat and the sudden feeling of lightness that made her stomach feel like it had was flip flopping. Even then, her eyes never the scene in front of her, watching as they became surrounded by stars and the world they were orbiting came into clearer view. Her eyes widened to take it all in. For a few moments she barely breathed.
She did let go when he needed to work with the controls. Focusing on the sunset, she reached for her supplies as he took care of setting their course and making sure they didn't drift. Before she could begin sketching, he drew her attention by reaching for something in one of the cabinets. Confused at first, her expression brightened when she saw what he'd retrieved.
"Thank you." She accepted the paper bouquet and breathed in the fragrance. "Where did you find the leaves? The nature deck?"
That was the most logical place to find them, but one never knew on the SoL.
