He was mildly surprised by the squeeze, and he glanced to her to make sure she was okay. Riku couldn't do a lot to comfort her immediately, as he had to watch the controls and tweak them in case anything came up, though luckily the systems were exceptionally easy. What he did, do, however, was to gently stoke the tendons of her delicate hand with his thumb. At least she was very observant, knowing when to let go when one hand wasn't enough to work the controls.
Riku sat down lightly in his seat, quietly enjoying how the lower gravity made every movement feel that much easier. He knew that when they got back they'd feel like they were climbing out of the pool, but it was always worth it. "Yeah. Since you mentioned that you didn't always like flowers I looked around for some other stuff on the deck. Something colorful along with the paper, and something that smelled nice." He turned his head to the side slightly, rubbing his nose. "Just... Something pretty." His eyes went back to her.
