As the doors opened, there was a high, sweet tune far in the distance. Fluttershy wasn't the only one who was making major use of the Nature Deck and its escapism from the cold, unforgiving metal of the Satellite.
Saria sat under a tree in the back of the deck, playing a little clay ocarina that she came upon by pure luck on the Theater Deck. She'd never played a clay ocarina before, and the new instrument took some getting used to, but as much as she missed her own wooden one she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth, and the tone of this ocarina was simply beautiful.
She was so wrapped up in the music that she didn't hear someone enter the deck, nor did she notice her fairy guardian fluttering out from under her hair and hovering over her head, seeming to watch the newcomer curiously.
