Maes slumped against the wall. Throwing them in there hadn't been difficult but the constant jump scares had done a number on his nerves. He was not going to be able to sleep now so he might as well sit out here in the hallway.

"I'll guard them and keep an eye out for any more coming in the hallway. You can go back to bed if you want," Maes said, looking up at MakubeX and offering a smile.
