Well, with two pursuers, trying to get a few shots in before he found more cover wasn't really working out. Then again, the need for better cover was part of the reason he was relocating to another deck. Sure, there were some good hiding spots in the rec deck, but with more people turning up to play, it was also getting slightly crowded. He didn't much like the idea of going for cover only to find someone from the other team waiting for him.

Ven's crazy rush had given him more hits than he cared for and his chance to retaliate wasn't coming right away. As he fled toward the lower deck, he slammed shut any doors he passed, hoping to slow pursuit enough to give him some chance of hiding when he got down there. He did briefly consider going further and heading down to the media deck, but pushed the thought aside. That was probably pushing it.

The first thing he did upon arriving at the theater deck was dive behind a set from... something. It really wasn't important at the moment so long as he was well enough hidden to get a few shots off on Ven and Sora when they arrived... provided he'd been far enough ahead of them to be able to actually hide...
