LASERRRRRS - [Open]
Characters: Sora, and OPEN FOR ANYONE PLAYING LASERTAG
Content: One of many lasertag skirmishes, to be sure
Location: The Recreation Deck
Time of Day: Afternoon
Warnings: None thusfar
[Any characters on red team are free to either get a successful shot at him, or be shot back...and green team members can come and team up if they like! Also, treat this thread as party-style...if you want to tags others besides Sora here, go for it.]
Sora just couldn't resist something like this...it was like some of the games they used to play on the Islands when he was younger, but with real lasers. And since they didn't hurt anyone and didn't have actual ammo or anything, they could use them as much as they wanted! How could anyone go wrong with something like that?
So as soon as he'd heard this stuff was available, he ran down to the Weapons Deck and picked up a gun and a set of armor for himself. It looked like he had the green kind. He was currently spending his time prowling around the Recreation Deck, occasionally ducking behind exercise equipment, looking for anyone on the opposite team that he could potentially hit...even if he wasn't the most stealthy person around.

It wasn't long before she suddenly heard footsteps from the other side of the room, and she peeked over the edge of the pool table, half covered as she fired several shots.

However, as soon as he was aware that he was being shot at, he ran and ducked behind a pile of equipment by the track. Not as good cover, but at least he could see pretty well. He peered around, searching for any sign of movement.

Roxas smirked as he took aim from behind an exercise bike. He planned to retreat to somewhere with better cover as soon as Sora noticed him, but in the meantime, he got off as many shots as he could before then.
no subject
He did catch a flash of blond hair...it was either Ven, or Roxas. Either way, he was going to repay that shot! He decided that he wasn't going to bother too much with cover...he'd never been one much for that sort of tactic, anyway. Sora got up and charged forward towards Roxas, firing off a bunch of shots in his direction.
no subject
His flight took him into an area of the rec deck with a few games in it and he ducked behind a foosball table. Still not the best cover, but he could probably work it.

A bright red light shone on the floor right next to Sora's hand!
Riku leaned out just enough to smirk at his childhood friend and rival before ducking back in. That was a warning shot.
no subject
Sora smirked. It was another opportunity to even the score between them, and as with the joust, he was determined to get the upper hand here!
He ran a little closer to Riku, firing off his own gun, and not doing so with intent to warn.

Sora is a good guy.

On the other hand, they were on opposite sides now so everything was fair game. It was probably a good idea that she hadn't tagged along with him. They'd probably end up going down the hall shooting at each other the entire time.
As it stood, Sasami was hiding in the worse possible spot - on the other side of the Rec Room's entrance. All she needed was a good shot...
no subject
In his searching around the deck, however, he did spot Sasami towards the entrance. He decided that in this case he'd try to better about sneaking up on her. He darted between pieces of equipment, making his way back towards the entrance until he felt he was close enough to aim...

And while he wasn't exactly a master of stealth himself, he had enough experience to know that Sora was doin' it wrong.
He peered out from behind a row of lockers. "Psst! Kid! Over here!"
no subject
He checked to make sure the path was clear before ducking over to where the other man was. "Find anyone from the red team, yet?"

Hiding inside one of the ball crates might have been a teeny bit claustrophobic, but it was worth it (so long as nobody tried to actually open it up or got hit by the avalanche of balls she had hastily stuffed into one of the closets to make room, that is).

"Hi, Kotetsu!" she chirped, firing her red laser at him a few times. "Bye, Kotetsu!" Ambush complete, she ducked back into the locker and slammed the door shut behind her.

Observation Deck!
"Hmm, interesting... the aggressive nature of these games seem to be overtaking the more peace-loving aspects of most people's natures. Could this be some sort of primal instinct manifesting?" She let the binoculars drop to hang around her neck, picking up the pen in her mouth and making a note in her journal.
Re: Observation Deck!
Pinkie popped her head out from under the table. She was lying on her back, gun clutched between her forehooves. "You don't mind if I hide here, right Twi? Ooooh, do you see any green people with those binoculars? I'm supposed to be shooting them!" She held up her gun, complete with red markings, proudly.

And when he reached his destination, Zidane wrapped his tail firmly around one of the pipes and let himself hang just a bit down past them to get a clear shot while keeping most of his body shielded. Any red team players anywhere close to being in range would be summarily shot at without hesitation.

Unfortunately, she fell for the traditional mistake of gamers not looking up. At least, not in time to do anything. She just caught a glimpse of blond hair peeking out from the ceiling and ducked into the other hall, but he definitely got a few hits on her in the meantime.

"Twitchy twitch-a twitch!" She gasped, and instantly dove for cover beneath a nearby ball bin. She wasn't quite fast enough, and a few shots grazed her hind legs, but she'd predicted most of the volley. From beneath her shelter, a pair of large blue eyes peered up at Zidane in awe. She TOTALLY never even THOUGHT of doing that!
