LASERRRRRS - [Open]

Characters: Sora, and OPEN FOR ANYONE PLAYING LASERTAG
Content: One of many lasertag skirmishes, to be sure
Location: The Recreation Deck
Time of Day: Afternoon
Warnings: None thusfar

[Any characters on red team are free to either get a successful shot at him, or be shot back...and green team members can come and team up if they like! Also, treat this thread as party-style...if you want to tags others besides Sora here, go for it.]

Sora just couldn't resist something like this...it was like some of the games they used to play on the Islands when he was younger, but with real lasers. And since they didn't hurt anyone and didn't have actual ammo or anything, they could use them as much as they wanted! How could anyone go wrong with something like that?

So as soon as he'd heard this stuff was available, he ran down to the Weapons Deck and picked up a gun and a set of armor for himself. It looked like he had the green kind. He was currently spending his time prowling around the Recreation Deck, occasionally ducking behind exercise equipment, looking for anyone on the opposite team that he could potentially hit...even if he wasn't the most stealthy person around.

Liz crouched behind the pool table, gun at the ready. It was as good a place as any for cover, somebody was bound to come up here sooner or later. Plus she'd been running around the satellite for a while and needed some time to catch her breath.

It wasn't long before she suddenly heard footsteps from the other side of the room, and she peeked over the edge of the pool table, half covered as she fired several shots.

Sora's lack of stealth made him a pretty easy target, whether he was aware of it or not. Roxas was also prowling among the exercise equipment. And it really wasn't hard to spot Sora. Exercise equipment didn't exactly provide the best cover.

Roxas smirked as he took aim from behind an exercise bike. He planned to retreat to somewhere with better cover as soon as Sora noticed him, but in the meantime, he got off as many shots as he could before then.

If there was one thing Riku was, it was that he was a good sport win or lose. Sneaking around Sora was a piece of cake. Avoiding temptation was harder. He was across the room, but he was lining up his shot carefully. Sora's hand was on the floor, in perfect target range. Just a hair to the left and...

A bright red light shone on the floor right next to Sora's hand!

Riku leaned out just enough to smirk at his childhood friend and rival before ducking back in. That was a warning shot.

On one hand, it WAS Sasami that found the laser tag weaponry in the first place. And a lot of people took it in stride (despite the idea of an eight-year-old with the gizmos kinda worrisome, especially with it being, well, a gun.)

On the other hand, they were on opposite sides now so everything was fair game. It was probably a good idea that she hadn't tagged along with him. They'd probably end up going down the hall shooting at each other the entire time.

As it stood, Sasami was hiding in the worse possible spot - on the other side of the Rec Room's entrance. All she needed was a good shot...

Kotetsu had equipped himself as well, but had been keeping low for now. It wasn't his usual approach, but, somehow, he felt stealth was a better option in this scenario. After all, he wasn't used to using weaponry quite like this.

And while he wasn't exactly a master of stealth himself, he had enough experience to know that Sora was doin' it wrong.

He peered out from behind a row of lockers. "Psst! Kid! Over here!"

Observation Deck!

She'd chosen to not throw in with the laser tag, but Twilight was still interested in observing. To that end, she'd equipped herself properly - she'd gathered binoculars and a pith helmet from the theatrical deck, and found herself a nice blank patch of wall to set up her equipment in front of. Said equipment mostly consisted of a table with a journal and pen on it and said binoculars, but still, positioning was important!

"Hmm, interesting... the aggressive nature of these games seem to be overtaking the more peace-loving aspects of most people's natures. Could this be some sort of primal instinct manifesting?" She let the binoculars drop to hang around her neck, picking up the pen in her mouth and making a note in her journal.

Decked out in green armor, Zidane had used his thief training and followed the sounds of laser blasts up to the Rec Deck and very carefully peeked inside, showing only the very top of his face. No one would shoot him if they didn't know his color, right? He'd waited just long enough for everyone to be distracted shooting someone else, the darted quickly through the door and took a running leap along the wall. Catching some of the ceiling pipage in his hands, he pulled himself up into the ceiling mess and quickly crawled his way out into the center of the room, using the pipes for cover as much as he possibly could.

And when he reached his destination, Zidane wrapped his tail firmly around one of the pipes and let himself hang just a bit down past them to get a clear shot while keeping most of his body shielded. Any red team players anywhere close to being in range would be summarily shot at without hesitation.

A large box made its way through the door and slowly started across the floor. It did seem to be bumping into objects along the way as well, but this didn't seem to deter it from whatever its mission was.

Lexaeus remained silent. Sometimes, confusion was something it was fun to give to your friends as well as your enemies.
