LASERRRRRS - [Open]

[Any characters on red team are free to either get a successful shot at him, or be shot back...and green team members can come and team up if they like! Also, treat this thread as party-style...if you want to tags others besides Sora here, go for it.]


Sora just couldn't resist something like this...it was like some of the games they used to play on the Islands when he was younger, but with real lasers. And since they didn't hurt anyone and didn't have actual ammo or anything, they could use them as much as they wanted! How could anyone go wrong with something like that?

So as soon as he'd heard this stuff was available, he ran down to the Weapons Deck and picked up a gun and a set of armor for himself. It looked like he had the green kind. He was currently spending his time prowling around the Recreation Deck, occasionally ducking behind exercise equipment, looking for anyone on the opposite team that he could potentially hit...even if he wasn't the most stealthy person around.

On one hand, it WAS Sasami that found the laser tag weaponry in the first place. And a lot of people took it in stride (despite the idea of an eight-year-old with the gizmos kinda worrisome, especially with it being, well, a gun.)

On the other hand, they were on opposite sides now so everything was fair game. It was probably a good idea that she hadn't tagged along with him. They'd probably end up going down the hall shooting at each other the entire time.

As it stood, Sasami was hiding in the worse possible spot - on the other side of the Rec Room's entrance. All she needed was a good shot...

Sora himself didn't think much of a kid using a weapon...they weren't hurting things with them, anyway. And hey, he used real weapons from what most would consider a young age, too.

In his searching around the deck, however, he did spot Sasami towards the entrance. He decided that in this case he'd try to better about sneaking up on her. He darted between pieces of equipment, making his way back towards the entrance until he felt he was close enough to aim...

Sasami was a little more than unlucky - all the times she peeked out, she kept missing poor Sora. She knew that all she had to do was just get one good look to find him and take aim.

Of course, doing this would give Sora a clear shot at her, as well.

Sora knew she was tracking him, too, but was willing to take the chance here. There was only so much hiding he could manage before he got too impatient. After making sure he was close enough, he peered out long enough to fire a couple of shots in her direction.

"UWAH!" Sasami jumped back as the shots were fired, but the number on her forehead changed numbers. She'd been hit.

"Ohhhhh!" Sasami fired back randomly, hoping to hit Sora in the process.

Even if he took a few hits, hopefully he could get the number on his hand higher this way, too! He continued firing back at Sasami as he ran forward, until finally he ducked behind another set of equipment. He didn't know if he could try that kind of surprise again, but hopefully it was worth it!
