From Sora's position, it looked like he was approaching Riku from behind Perfect! Even though he was certain that Riku had heard him, it'd still take more time for him to turn around and fire back.

So he crept as close as possible, dragging the rack along with him, before finally pulling out from behind it and firing as much as he could at what he could see of Riku from under the banner.
