As Riku had healed himself, he'd watched as the two animals fought off his attackers. Perry fought with unbelievable skill and cunning, and Amaterasu seemingly without lifting a paw. At least, he could only assume the magic was from her. She must have been a great warrior in her pack!

Riku blinked at the raptor moving almost gracefully in slow motion. He approached it, literally a foot away from it and staring it in the face. With a single quick motion, he brought his arm back and slammed the hilt of his weapon into the side of its face, breaking teeth. "Let's see how you like it." And with that Riku connected with a roundhouse kick, sending it flying back.

He stood there a moment, still breathing heavily before turning to the side and spitting out the blood leftover from before he healed himself. After a moment, he looked to the other two with a look of confusion. "Amaterasu? ...Perry?!" Had he really just been saved by a green platypus, of all things? ...At least a wolf made sense. ...A wolf with strange powers. But a platypus?!
