Characters: MakubeX and Xion
Content: Computer lessons
Location: MakubeX's room
Time of Day: Some time after this
Warnings: Potential for Cambot abuse? Otherwise none... for now.
MakubeX had mostly been keeping to himself during the current event. It was all completely strange to him. Oh, certainly, he knew the basics, but he wasn't particularly inclined to take part. He had taken notice of Xion's costume changes, however.
He hadn't been sure how to respond. He liked the latest outfit, but he didn't want to make things too awkward commenting on it, either. He was grateful when the conversation had shifted. Now, his curiosity was piqued and he had a willing student on the way.
The laptop he had been given at Christmas was workable, but far from his ideal. It would be enough to show Xion some basics and he could probably take a peek into a Cambot, if he were truly lucky.
MakubeX finished setting up the laptop on the floor and looked up to address his Cambot, only to see it hurry out the door.
"Hn. Coward."

"Hn. Coward."
Sorry this took so long. Also, I think we're at a good stopping point in the other thread?
The outfit Rarity and Namine had made for her was very nice, too, even if not the kind of thing she was used to. She'd been intending to get used to it in private before showing everyone. So much for that plan, but at least there'd been no awkward conversations; everyone had been complimentary.
She'd been happy for the change of subject, though, and for what had come of it. She'd been wanting to learn more about computers, so MakubeX's offer had been welcome--though she'd waited until after she'd changed into her regular clothes to go.
Cambot didn't seem too happy, though. All the way to MakubeX's room he'd been playing sad violin music. When they arrived and saw the other Cambot leaving, he began a funeral march.
"I don't think it's going to be that bad."
Then she turned to MakubeX and smiled. "Hey."
No problem!
MakubeX heard the music as they approached, sighing once they entered. He was, in a way, thankful that she had changed. It certainly would have been a distraction. ...not that he would have minded, of course.
"Well, at least it stuck around. Really, it will be painless."

She noticed the sigh and briefly wondered what had caused it. For a moment she'd considered wearing the dress, but thought it was too nice to just hang around in and so had hung it carefully in her closet for the next special occasion.
"He's a brave Cambot, but can they even feel pain?"
Cambot used more R2-D2 sounds to answer that question

Cambot hovered closer to the door, as if to indicate he'd really, really like to follow his buddy.
Xion sighed and gave MakubeX an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, but I don't want to force him..."

He sighed, but didn't really look that upset. He moved aside, gesturing for Zion to join him.
"We'll just go right into the lesson, then."

She went to join him in front of the computer.

"First of all, let's see what we can skip. Tell me what you do know about them at the moment."
I'm going with the idea that Maku's computer uses Windows.
The computer wasn't much like the one at Castle Oblivion, but after a few moments she stumbled upon the Start menu and the "Find" program.
He'd set it up that way for her. ^^
Right, 'cause he'd be using something like Linux or Ubuntu or something he made. XD
"Did you make a file like that?"
Pretty much XD

Xion kind of fails at understanding 'scientific study.' XD;;;
Aww... X3
She tries, bless her.

"How...why..."

Her tone wasn't accusing, just curious and maybe a little serious.

"It... turned out to be quite the effective weapon as well."
no subject
(or maybe just didn't want to). "Someone took it from you?"Then, a remembered conversation between them gave her another idea. " Or was it...when you lost yourself for a while?"
no subject
"There were a fair amount of willing participants. But others..."
no subject
"It was that bad?"
no subject
"For the most part, though, it was to create super-soldiers, who were willing."
no subject
"No." The word was barely a whisper, but it was out before she even realized she'd spoken. What he was describing...That sounded like something the Organization would do, that Xemnas would plan. Not like MakubeX at all. Though, if someone like Isa could eventually become Saix...MakubeX could have changed since that time. He certainly seemed to regret it now.
She gently moved the computer aside and shifted so she was facing him. "Why?"
Again, her tone wasn't accusatory, but serious, as was her expression.

These two. ;_; I'm getting wibbly now. Also, sorry this took so long
Still, his feelings for her and what she thought she might feel for him aside, they were friends.
Do you ever worry you could lose yourself like that again?
If...it does, will you help bring me back?
Was this what he'd been thinking of when he'd said that?
When she spoke next, her tone was a little more gentle. "The kind that makes you do things you wish you hadn't done later?"
;_;
"Precisely."
They'll work it out eventually. Again with the late tagging. >_>
Yep. ^^ And don't worry about it. :3
