Well Shepard wasn't impressed so much as curious. Her career had almost relied entirely on locating to colonies or inside military stations, so careers were pretty focused toward necessities and just short of her arrival here, there wasn't much time for simple small talk. Besides, a little small talk never hurt anyone.

She nodded to his answer and moved over a little to fill her mug a little more than where it was before. "Hopefully they paid decently, right?"
