Luna hadn't thought much at first about why she hadn't received a costume change this week. The more she saw of them, however, the more she began to feel left out.

However, it wasn't long before she discovered a bag full of red feathers, labeled "Phoenix Downs".

"We wonder what these are for?" she said to herself and she draped the bag around her neck. Celestia had owned a phoenix, hadn't she? Luna hurried to show her sister her find.

Celestia was glad that her mane had returned to normal, but she hadn't expected to receive a bag of Phoenix Downs herself. She knew what phoenix feathers looked like since she has Philomena, but there was something about the feathers that seemed off. She couldn't put her hoof on what exactly.

She figured she should go find Luna and ask her what she thinks. She proceeds to open her door, drap the bag around her neck and leave her room. It should be easy to spot her.

Luna spotted her sister as she left the room.

"Ah, there you are! We must ask you a question. Strange things have been going on again. I figured perhaps you would know more ab-..." Luna broke off when she spotted Celestia's own bag. "Oh, you have them as well! Whatever are they for?"

She notices Luna's bag. "It appears we both got the same thing. They look like phoenix feathers, but something about these feathers seem off. I'm not sure what exactly," she shakes her head "Either way, I'm not sure what these bags are supposed to be for. Perhaps materials for a costume or something else?"

"Perhaps. Or perhaps we are to sell them?" Luna suggested. "There are so many of them."

"That's certainly a possibility. But the question would be how much we can sell these feathers for and what currency this place uses? I assume they don't use bits like we do back home."

"Hmm, that is something to consider." Luna tapped a hoof in thought. "Unless everypony has been given currency?"

"You don't know? I assumed since you were here before me you would know," she shifts the bag to make it more comfortable for her "Perhaps we'll have to ask some ponies around here then. Maybe they have an answer for us."

"Well, yes, but I do not recall needing any currency. I was thinking that perhaps they were given some specially for this event."

Luna nodded, taking another peek in her bag. "That is a wise idea."

"I see. That does explain a lot," she looks at her own bag for a second "where do you suppose we should start looking?"

"Perhaps the nature deck? The birds these feathers came from may be residing there."

"Sounds good. You can lead the way since I haven't been there yet."

"Of course." Luna led the way, occasionally looking down at her bag to make sure none of the feathers fell out.

"T'is a rather nice desk. I am curious to see if it has changed this week."

Celestia also checked out her own bag from time to time so hers don't fall out as well.

"I wouldn't be surprised since they seem to really like decorating the place."

"It's usually a lot of fun," Luna said, holding her head high. She'd learned a lot about having fun since her arrival on the satellite.

This makes Celestia happy since she knows her little sister can be a little too uptight sometimes and learning how to have fun is a good thing for her. "That sounds quite lovely."

"Indeed! Even if sometimes it can be strange, like today," Luna said. She let the way into the nature deck, looking around to see if anypony was there.

"At least it makes things more interesting then." She also looked around to see if she can spot anypony around.

Luna frowned slightly. "Hm. No pony seems to be here today... Shall we wait?"

She nods. "We should. I'm sure somepony will show up eventually."

Luna pulls out a feather and lays it out in front of her.

"T'is a very nice color. Perhaps fair Rarity would like a few."

"Perhaps. I believe she does use feathers in designing clothes."

Luna nods, arranging a few more feathers in front of her. "These aren't really my color, though, or I'd ask if she could make something for me."

"Yes, blue or purple feathers would be more suiting for you," she looks at the phoenix feathers. "I wonder if I should ask to make something with these for me. It might look pretty good on me."

"Oh, indeed!" Luna said. "They would look wonderful on you!"

"We'll have to save some if we can." Celestia knew Rarity would love to make something for her and getting extra material to use would certainly help her.

"Oh, certainly!" Lunda tapped her hooves together. "And then we'll have to have a party to show it off!"

That reminds her of something. "Oh yes, I do recall Pinkie Pie mentioned making a 'princess party' for me when I first arrived. I also recall she seemed to be from an earlier point in time than me, which is rather strange."

She has wondered what parts of the timeline the other ponies they were from and if she was ahead of all of them time-line wise. Not that it mattered much, but she didn't want to wreck the timeline back home. She hoped she could talk to Twilight since she was the only pony she had yet to speak to, but she has yet to hear from her. At this point, she assumes that Twilight was sent home. Which was for the best since then Twilight would be safe.

"That is another strange thing about this place. It wasn't long after Nightmare Night when I arrived."

This surprises her. "Oh really? That was quite a while ago for me. I was at the party after the wedding before I was pulled here."

"Wedding? Oh, how exciting! Who were the lucky ponies?"

"Remember Cadance? She's the lucky bride. As for the groom, that would be Shining Armor."

"Oh, is that so?" Luna laughed. "How wonderful!"

"It was, though there were some...delays beforehoof, but other than that, it was quite fun. Though this place could have waited until it was over to pull me here."

She wasn't going to talk about the Changling stuff yet. She probably will eventually, but it's not just yet.

The thought that something that drastic happened didn't even occur to Luna. Nothing that terrible could happen on such a happy day, surely!

"Oh, my! I do hope somepony did not end up with cold hooves!"

"Oh no nothing like that. Just some delays." Yeah, she's being vague on purpose.

"Ah, t'is a shame..." Luna said with a sigh. She brightened almost immediately, though. "I can imagine Mi Amore Cadenza was the most beautiful bride!"
