Isa knew he shouldn't let this bother him. It had nothing to do with him, and Riku likely had a good reason to be acting the way he was, he shouldn't be taking it so personally. He didn't actually know what had gone down, after all. Who was he to say that Riku was out of line?

But that didn't change the fact that it did bother Isa greatly. It bothered him enough that he felt like he needed to talk to someone about it, it wasn't something he could keep bottled up as easily as most things.

He knocked on the door to Aeleus's room. He had considered talking to Roxas or Sora about this, maybe Riku himself, but Aeleus was still the only person he felt like he could trust to actually be up front about these things.

"Come in," Aeleus called. He'd been getting resettled; he was of two minds about reorganizing the secondary pillownest that Ienzo had begun in his room. On the balance, it really was Ienzo's creation to do with as he chose. Aside from his things having been shifted, nothing seemed to have been added or taken away since he'd left.

Aeleus settled on the edge of his bed. "I haven't spoken with the others yet, so I don't know that I can give you the answers that you're seeking." He wasn't confident that he could give Isa answers at all; Isa's current fate was uncertain at best. "It might be better to wait until everyone from our world meets to discuss things."

Aeleus inclined his head. "What was it you needed to say?" He couldn't be sure what anyone had said to Isa in the time that he'd been gone. Aeleus sighed internally. Given how cagey certain people were being, it was difficult to tell exactly what they'd learn from Sora and Riku about what had gone on from their point of view. Aeleus found that he wasn't looking forward to it.

Aeleus sighed. "Your feelings are justified. I think that Riku's worry about the future is somewhat unnecessary, because what we learn here does not seem to change our fates at home. However, I believe he is acting out of a sincere concern that sharing news about the future could change it for the worse."

"I would certainly think so, given that I had already told you about some of what would happen to you in the future." Aeleus considered it. "I agree that Riku is being rather rude."

"He didn't have to, and I don't know what precise circumstances caused that reaction." Aeleus had to admit that guardedly civil was probably a completely legitimate reaction, depending on what Zexion might have done to Riku. "I would hope that we can all be civil to each other."

"Riku is being unreasonable. Your reaction is understandable," Aeleus said. "However, I am working on the assumption that he has motives for the way he's acting."

"I think that you should wait and see what information he's worrying over," Aeleus said after a moment. "Talking to him on your own might lead to a confrontation, which would help no one."

"Yes, you should. Otherwise, you will likely torture yourself wondering if people are keeping information from you." Well, that was more of something that Ienzo was likely to do, but given how Isa seemed to feel at the moment, it might be true of him as well.

"Yes. Even so. It's up to you of course, whether you prefer to go or not. But I think it will prey on you if you don't." And hopefully he wasn't making a mistake in encouraging it.
