At last, candy for all! [OPEN]

Mike had to admit, even with all the weird stuff that happened on the Satellite usually, some of the stuff they'd gotten this week had been some of the weirdest. Luckily, he hadn't eaten one of those cupcakes, but had had one of those creepy scarecrows stalk him for awhile.

Still, he'd promised candy for any of the kids (or anyone else, really) that wanted to go trick-or-treating, and he was going to make due on that promise. So, he waited at his room with a large bowl full of candy, dressed as...himself. He was a little nervous to try on any of the costumes on the Theatrical Deck now, after all.

Minako would, in theory, agree with Mike. It was Halloween, and Halloween was a time to get dressed up. So what better way to do it than to dress up as...well, oneself (http://forthecon.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/sailor-v.jpg)?

"Trick or Treat!" Minako brought up a V sign as she knocked on the door. "For love and justice...and candy~! ♥"

"Well hey there!" Mike said as he answered the door. He offered the bowl of candy to Minako so that she could take a handful.

"So who're you supposed to be?" She looked a lot like a character from one of those Japanese cartoons...

"I am Codename: Sailor V!" Minako grinned as she took a good handful of candy. "And you are Mike Nelson, right?"

"Ohhh. Very nice costume!" Mike complimented her. He'd never heard of that person, but that did sound a lot like Japanese cartoons.

"Yup, that's correct," he replied. If he could go on without having to explain his lack of costume, that would be nice, but he doubted it'd necessarily go that way.

Mike just kinda laughed to himself. "I'm dressed up as a temp worker trapped in space." Which, he usually was.

Isa stood off in the distance, glaring at the people going trick or treating.

It wasn't that Isa didn't like the holiday, on the contrary, he actually rather liked the holiday, he had still managed to dress up, In a tunic-like, tiger print loincloth. But the stupid pranks had managed to put him in such a terrible mood that he didn't feel like trick or treating.

Sora was more than thankful to be back to normal size, and just in time for actual trick-or-treating. He'd been pretty careful since the cupcake incident...although some things, like the scarecrows and that dog barking at night, had been hard to avoid.

So he was now dressed up in his makeshift vampire costume (not as good as the Halloween Town one, but it would do for now), and was headed towards the promised candy. It was along the way that he spotted Isa...and weirder still, that creepy mask was still on.

Sora waved to him. "Hey there!"

It wasn't like Isa could do anything about the mask, though, given how things went in this place, he figured it would be gone once Halloween was over.

"What do you want?" He said, hostilely.

Sora paused in his walk, and frowned. For the time he had known Isa while on this ship, he had been happy to see that he wasn't that much like Saix. Aloof and a bit short with people, sure, but never outright hostile or cruel. He didn't want to think that stuff like that would pop up now.

"...Just gonna go get some candy," he said, nodding in the direction of the rooms at the end of the deck. "Were you trick or treating, too?"

Well, okay, Sora didn't really know Isa all that well, because he did have a cruel streak to him sometimes, though the keyword there was "sometimes".

"Why would I want to do that?" Never mind that Lea wasn't around.

Sheesh, was he trying to be this grouchy? Or was it just because that mask was still stuck on him?

"'Cause it's free candy?" Sora said, a bit puzzled by his response. Who wouldn't want to get some free candy? "I mean, why not? It's fun."

Namine decided that with the strange events finally dying down, she could venture out of her room safely. Luckily, it was just in time for trick-or-treat! She'd found a black witch's dress and hat on the theatrical deck, so she even had a costume.

"Trick or treat!" She knocked on the door, holding out her pillowcase.

Mike opened the door to discover one of the kids waiting...and dressed as something he could recognize, for once! That was a bit of a relief.

"Well hey there! You're looking like a lovely witch tonight," Mike said, and offered Namine the bowl of candy.

Namine smiled at him, blushing a little at the compliment.

"Thank you." She studied the candy in the bowl before decided, finally settling on a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. There were so many to choose from, but this might be one time where taking one of everything wasn't polite.

"Oh, you can take a little more than that," Mike said, keeping the bowl out. Most kids he knew when he was growing up usually took at least a couple, if not a handful. Maybe she'd had a stricter upbringing or something.

Namine had never been trick-or-treating before; all she had to work with were what she remembered of Sora's memories and her own intuition. The encouragement to take more is appreciated, though a bit surprising. She reached back into the bowl to take a fun-sized KitKat and Snickers.

"Thanks again." She smiled and waved as she moved to the next door.

"You're welcome!" Mike said, and waved to Namine as she headed on down the hall. Sweet kid. Mike did miss doing this for the kids at home, and it was nice to have it at least a little again now.

Pinkie was SO happy she'd finally managed to shrink back down just in time for Nightmare Night! She'd missed a lot of time working on her costume, but luckily the costumes already on the Satellite even included a few made for ponies! She'd finally ended up picking the one she did based on the name (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=pinkie+pie+as+the+joker#/d4d05gb) on the package - it was absolutely PERFECT for her!

Flicking a lock of newly-green mane from her face, she pounded on Mike's door. "NIGHTMARE NIGHT, WHAT A FRIGHT, GIVE ME SOMETHING SWEET TO BITE!"

"Hey--WAAAH!" Pinkie's costume actually did succeed in giving Mike a scare...at least in the fact that there was suddenly a pinky pony dressed up as the Joker at his door. Somehow, he hadn't ever been expecting that.

After recovering from that small shock, he held out the candy bowl to her. "Uh, wow, nice costume, Pinkie. And I think people usually say 'Trick or Treat,' but that's close enough."
