After last week, Kotetsu figured everyone needed some cheering up. Thankfully, the satellite had done most of the work for him. He had been given a councilor's apparel and, dang it, he was taking it to heart.

There was a campfire ablaze near the lake, with hot dogs and marshmallows at the ready nearby. A couple of tables were set up for arts and crafts, so the kids could make birdhouses or dreamcatchers. He'd even managed to set up a small archery field. (The tips were suction cups. No need for any more tragedies.)

Whenever anyone signed in, he greeted them with an enthusiastic "Welcome to Camp S.O.L.!", then directed them towards the activities. Finally, he pointed out where the boys and girls tents were located, with a warning that he better not find anyone in the wrong tent.

"I don't know." She hadn't been able to look them up, so she didn't know what they normally ate, and she hadn't tried feeding them for fear of giving them the wrong thing.

Besides, when it came to pets, she was really more of a dog person.

Curious, MakubeX carefully lowered himself onto his stomach and lightly touched the surface of the water with a finger. He grinned as some of the fish curiously pecked at it.

Xion smiled and moved to sit beside him. Sitting was more comfortable than kneeling, and it seemed like they might be here a while. Even if they really only saw the lake today, that was okay. There would be plenty of time to explore other parts of the nature deck, later.

One step at a time and he'd be willing to see it all. He seemed to be more relaxed, although he was still keeping hold of that blanket.

Whatever pace worked best was fine for her. Just getting to spend time together like this is nice.
