To say Aqua was nervous would have been an understatement. Even knowing that Terra was perfectly willing to accept her, planning something and actually doing were two vastly different things. The fact that she still didn't entirely know what she was doing didn't help matters either. It was only the fact the Terra was going to be just as lost as she was that kept her from giving into whim and running as far and as fast as she could. She hadn't even really had a chance to see if there were any relevant books in the library.

But she could probably muddle her way through things. She would have to. Someone would have to act as a pillar and she wasn't exactly sure Terra was not to manage. So with one last deep breath, and a final check to make sure her dress was arranged properly (it was, not surprisingly) she headed off to where she and Terra were supposed to be meeting. Waiting wasn't going to solve anything, here.

Aqua was not the only one Rarity had helped dress for the evening. Terra walked down the hall in a fitted black suit, completely with a vest and a smashing red tie (which matched Aqua's dress, even if he didn't know it yet). He felt strange in such clothes, but Rarity had assured him he looked good. He adjusted the tie for the 500th time and flexed his hands. Terra was so nervous he could hardly stand it. If it wasn't the clothes it was the prospect of the date ahead. He was such an idiot when it came to these things and clueless that he had no idea if he was going to do okay or bomb out completely. Terra had to remind himself that it was just Aqua.

However, it was not just Aqua whom he saw waiting for him. It was Aqua wearing a stunning dress that complimented her figure and made her look 10 times more beautiful than she already was. No wonder Rarity had insisted she get Terra a suit. He would have looked HORRIBLE next to Aqua wearing what he usually did, even HE could understand that. Merely standing there took his breath away but finally he managed, "Wow Aqua, you look beautiful." Okay, that wasn't the smoothest of lines. He cleared his throat and started again, "That is...will you join me for dinner?" He extended an arm to her to escort her to the designated date area.
