A few minutes ago, the following message went out over the Cambot network:

YOU'RE INVITED!

Welcome to the Satellite Party! Right now on Deck 4!

Come get to know everyone and make new friends! Refreshments will be provided! Everyone welcome!

Even though she hasn't had very long to get the party ready, Pinkie's still somehow found time to completely furnish Deck 4 with tablecloths, balloons, and streamers. She's already found the media deck, too; there's a hastily gathered collection of party music.There's also a punch bowl, a sheet cake that reads "SATELLITE OF PARTY", and some cupcakes, just in case the first cake isn't big enough for everyone. The pony herself is standing by the door wearing a party hat and nearly vibrating in her excitement to greet her guests. Despite her efforts, she's fairly sure she hasn't met everypony on the Satellite yet, but she totally will now! And everyone will make friends with each other, and the Satellite will be 500% awesomer!

"Aah, parties are generally fun! Well, as long as you don't get drunk." Minako's eyes widened as music began to play, and she clapped her hands. "Hey! You want to dance?"

Terra was taken aback by the offer. Dance? He'd never really danced before and this wasn't really the music he was used to. Terra resisted the urge to take a step back and excuse himself since he didn't want to upset Minako either. After all, she looked really excited about all of this.

"I'm not a very good dancer Minako," Terra admitted.

"I'm not either." Minako grinned goofily. "But that's ok! It's a fun thing to do!"

He sighed. It didn't look like a lot of people were dancing...but Minako sounded like she really wanted to. Besides, you needed a partner for dancing, right? Terra thought of the few balls and celebrations he'd been to with dancing, trying to recall a single movement or protocol for this.

Finally he smiled slightly and bowed a bit, directing Minako towards the dance floor, "After you then."

"Ah, thank you~!"

Success! Minako might as well have been walking on air as she walked with Terra to the dance floor. Operation: Do Stuff With Terra was going as planned!

Terra was baffled by Minako's continued enthusiasm. It was a party, sure, but he hadn't seen someone this happy since he spoke with Pinkie Pie. Maybe Minako was just one of those people who was constantly happy. It was a nice change of pace to say the least.

Once they were on the dance floor Terra held a hand out for her, "Just remember...I don't dance all that much." He wasn't sure about this music either. It was so different from what he was used to that he didn't know where to start in moving.
