[Pinkie's announcement after Discord's defeat wasn't just hot air. As soon as five minutes after the chaos god's last cry echoed throughout the ship, there's already music blaring out the open doors of the recreation deck. As if in defiance of Discord's attack on her there, Pinkie's filled the place with even MORE balloons than typical for one of her parties. Above the main refreshment table - which is clearly the one with the biggest cake on it - there's a few banners. The topmost one reads SO LONG DISCORD! Right below it is a smaller one saying SORRY FOR BEING A MEANIE. The bottom one is a little larger and written in a different color HAPPY LATE HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY! In all the chaos, she'd completely FORGOTTEN a holiday; could you believe it? But she was totally going to make it up now, with a party to beat all parties!]

[His world doesn't have this stuff! Okay it has some stuff, but nothing really like this, and at least Zidane's done plenty of theatre to know that tangled cords are a bad idea? So he's mostly going behind Pinkie and tidying up all her mess BUT HE HAS NO IDEA HOW ANYTHING IS HOOKED IN.]

Sure! Jump in! NEVER GONNA TELL A LIIIIIEEE AND HUUUURT YOU!

[Pinkie's really more focused on the singing than the cords now anyway; it's hard to do both without hands. Oddly enough, her lack of attention actually makes her efforts slightly less destructive.] WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR SO LOOOOOOOONG!

[Not so odd! She's causing less chaos with her sheer presence! But Zidane's about to help her cause more, because he's... very, very infected at this point, and really? He doesn't care. So it's hoof-grabbing time, because it's time for the accompanying dance!]

[...Yes, he's a biped dancing with a pony. SO WHAT.]

YOUR HEART'S BEEN ACHING BUUUUT YOU'RE TOO SHY TO SAY IT!

[This kind of dancing can TOTALLY work. Pinkie is totally on board! She lets him spin her around; she's pretty great at keeping balance on her hind legs anyway.] INSIDE WE BOTH KNOW WHAT'S BEEN GOING ONNNNNN!

[...oh. Oh god. What the hell did he just walk into?]

[Harvey actually knows perfectly well how to set one of these things up, and he sets about it as fast as possible, continuing on his own even as the other two start dancing. The sooner he gets it working, the sooner he can get something else playing, and the sooner he can get away from these two.]

[And he's totally not starting to hum along under his breath as he sorts out the cords, thereby exposing himself even more to its evil infectious influence. Nope.]

[If anybody can dance like this, it's Pinkie! Zidane doesn't even care at this point, it's just fun. He's had too little fun in his life lately.]
