Triple Terrific Party Time! [OPEN]

Location: The recreation deck
Warnings: Zidane may not be genocidal anymore, but he does have a certain karaoke machine...

[Pinkie's announcement after Discord's defeat wasn't just hot air. As soon as five minutes after the chaos god's last cry echoed throughout the ship, there's already music blaring out the open doors of the recreation deck. As if in defiance of Discord's attack on her there, Pinkie's filled the place with even MORE balloons than typical for one of her parties. Above the main refreshment table - which is clearly the one with the biggest cake on it - there's a few banners. The topmost one reads SO LONG DISCORD! Right below it is a smaller one saying SORRY FOR BEING A MEANIE. The bottom one is a little larger and written in a different color HAPPY LATE HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY! In all the chaos, she'd completely FORGOTTEN a holiday; could you believe it? But she was totally going to make it up now, with a party to beat all parties!]

[Maes was happy there was a party again and doubly happy to see Pinkie being Pinkie again...and triple happy to be on two feet again.

He found Pinkie almost immediately and beamed at her, pulling the small pony up and into a hug]

PINKIE! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY AND YOU'RE THROWING PARTIES AGAIN!

[sailorlaughter]

[Pinkie hugs back, laughing.] Maes! I'm so happy to see you! Oooh, oooh, wait here!

[She darts off, reappearing a second later with a heart-shaped box of chocolates.] Happy Hearts and Hooves Day! I guess it'd be Hearts and Hands Day for you though, huh?

Xion waited until Hughes was through talking to Pinkie before approaching him.

"Hi, Hughes."

[And guess who's showing up with a trolley full of electronics and wires?]

[GUYS, ENTERTAINMENT'S HERE!]

Hey, PINKIE! Where do you want this stuff?

[He's still humming his new favorite song under his breath - rickrolling continues!]

[sailorlaughter]

[Zidane used Rickroll! But it failed...]

[Pinkie gestures off to one side of the room, where she's already set up a small makeshift stage. Its construction is a little questionable, but it'll hold!] Hey, Zidane! Over there's good! Do you need any help with it?

[Squints at the last banner for a moment...]

Okay, I give. What's Hearts and Hooves Day? Something about exercise?

[sailorlaughter]

[Pinkie giggles.] No, silly! It's a holiday! About showing everypony you care about how important they are! Maes said humans call it Valentine's Day, but he didn't know why. I don't think it makes as much sense as Hearts and Hooves, but Christmas is kinda a weird name too, so I guess human holidays are just like that!

[And here's Kotetsu's heart-shaped box of chocolate!] So happy Valentine's Day!

After the mess of the past few days, a party hosted by Pinkie Pie seemed just the thing to perk up the satellite again. While having wings and getting to fly had been a lot of fun, being brainwashed had definitely not been fun! So Sora showed up at the party as soon as it was underway, eager to do something fun with anyone he ran into.

He was definitely intrigued by the machine that Zidane had brought up...if it worked as demonstrated before, that meant it'd play any music you wanted for any song you wanted to sing! That sounded pretty fun to him.

Namine went through what was her usual party routine of getting some snacks and something to drink, then looked around to see who had arrived so far. There weren't many people here yet, so it was easy to see Sora looking around by himself. Gathering her food and drink, she moved to where he could hear her.

"Hello, Sora."

"Hi, Sora."

Having spent most of her first party hanging out on the edge of the crowd, Xion was trying to find all her friends and at least say hello. She could at least do that, even if it meant having to navigate through the crowd a bit.

[Well, he hadn't planned on coming at first, but MakubeX thought it was a good excuse to people-watch. He just hung around in a corner.]

This time Xion managed to arrive at the party fairly early. Doing so gave her a chance to see who was there before everyone got busy talking to other people, so she decided to see who was here before going for refreshments. Seeing her friend in the corner, she waved to him, not speaking until she got a little closer.

"Hi."

[sailorlaughter]

Hey, MakubeX! I'm so glad you could make it!

[Pinkie bounces up to him with one of her heart-shaped candy boxes.] Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!

Once again, when it came to a party, the first stop Roxas made was the table with the refreshments. He hadn't really decided whether he was going to mingle or not, but he figured if anyone really wanted to talk to him, they'd find him.

He assumed the holiday mentioned on the party banner was something from the ponies' home world, but beyond that he wasn't really reaching the conclusion that it matched up to Valentine's Day. If he did make the connection, it didn't really matter that much to him. At the moment, he was more preoccupied with his snacks and the fact that he was no longer a small, winged equine.

Namine saw Roxas at the food table when she went to get something more to drink, and made a detour over to where he stood.

'Hi Roxas. How are you feeling?"

She knew he'd been hurt trying to help Sora, on top of what had happened with the shadows.

Xion caught up with Roxas a little later, but she smiled to see him at the party.

"Roxas! You made it."

[sailorlaughter]

"Hi, Roxas!"

Pinkie popped up pretty quickly; she was already making rounds, greeting all her guests. "I'm soooooo happy you could make it! Are you having a good time? Need some more punch? OH, Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!" She bent down and brought out a heart-shaped box from beneath the table, plopping it on top of his snack plate.

Celebrating the defeat of that horrible monster and the fact that everyone had gone back to normal? Sounded like as good of an excuse for a party as any.

Wilykit hung back a bit, just observing the unfolding festivities for the moment. She definitely knew that she wanted to join in and unwind after what had happened. The only problem was, she didn't know what to start with.

Midna wandered over to Wilykit - they hadn't properly met yet, but a lot of people had showed up since the Christmas party. That was an idea; Pinkie Pie would probably be happy to have at least one party a month so everyone could get together all at once.

"Hi," she said to the girl. "It's kind of overwhelming to see how many people are here all at once, isn't it?"

[Kaldur shows up a bit late, but he is there. He is glad to be un-ponified and is glad to see that Discord is defeated. He could use a party, even if he has had enough excitement for awhile.

He studies the banner for a moment before making his way over and just leaning against a wall. He's never too sure of what he is supposed to do at these parties Pinkie keeps throwing, he's never been to so many before]

One of the few things Namine could think of to do at a party, now that she'd been to a few, was look for her friends to see if she could talk to them. Spotting Kaldur by the wall, she moved in that direction.

"Hi Kaldur."

[Guess who's never been to a Pinkie Pie party before? Ven, that's who, for all that Pinkie threatened him with one when he got to the SOL just because Terra and Aqua would be so happy to see him again. But he's heard they're pretty legendary, and, well - parties in the Land of Departure weren't horribly exciting. There was some cake and that was about it. Eraqus wasn't really a 'party dude' so much.]

[So this is a novel experience for him! Who wants to show him the ropes?]

[Kotetsu noticed Ven was looking a bit lost. ...well, once he was 100% sure it was Ven, anyway. Between this and his infamous question earlier, he was positive the poor kid must have been really sheltered. Well, that just wouldn't do, so he made his way over.]

Yo! Pretty nice, huh?

Riku stood stiffly near the punch bowl, the posture indicating is ribs were wrapped again. He was a step shy of glaring at the fruity drink. He honestly wasn't quite sure where any of the food and drink had come from for sure, and given the last two times he'd had punch at a party resulted in embarrassment, party beverages made him wary.

Xion could guess why Riku was staring at the punch bowl, and couldn't help smiling a bit. The Christmas party seemed to be having some lasting effects.

"I think Pinkie Pie made everything, if you're wondering."

[After all the mess that had come of Discord's visit, Aqua almost hadn't come. It was bad enough that he'd managed to get to her, and worse that she'd turned away her friends for the sake of becoming one of the few people she legitimately couldn't stand. But hesitation has never really done her good and she supposes that she might as well use the party as a way to apologize to people.

It's only after she arrives that she remembers how much fun Pinkie's parties can be, although she doesn't exactly rush into the think of things either.]

[Riku happens by, happily drinking the first safe punch he's had in a while. As he catches sight of her, he gives her a bit of a half smile.]
