[Pinkie's announcement after Discord's defeat wasn't just hot air. As soon as five minutes after the chaos god's last cry echoed throughout the ship, there's already music blaring out the open doors of the recreation deck. As if in defiance of Discord's attack on her there, Pinkie's filled the place with even MORE balloons than typical for one of her parties. Above the main refreshment table - which is clearly the one with the biggest cake on it - there's a few banners. The topmost one reads SO LONG DISCORD! Right below it is a smaller one saying SORRY FOR BEING A MEANIE. The bottom one is a little larger and written in a different color HAPPY LATE HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY! In all the chaos, she'd completely FORGOTTEN a holiday; could you believe it? But she was totally going to make it up now, with a party to beat all parties!]

Wilykit's eyebrows briefly arched upward when she got a good look at Midna. She had gotten a very quick glimpse of the little imp while Zidane had been... out of sorts, when Midna had said over Cambot that she was coming to Link's aid, but she had been a pony then, and Wilykit had been understandably distracted at the moment and hadn't been paying too much attention. She got over her surprise quickly enough, though. After the previous week's misadventures, she wasn't sure if anything would be capable of seriously phasing her for a while.

"Yeah, it kind of is," she admitted. "But at least it's more fun than scary most of the time."

"You can probably start with the food. Pinkie Pie makes good food. If the bots have been involved, you'll want to be careful, but it looks as if they weren't."

Midna definitely hasn't forgotten the Christmas party at all. And she doesn't really know Wilykit, but a kid shouldn't have to stand at the edge of a party and feel odd.

"I'm sure she does," Wilykit agreed, remembering Pinkie's welcoming cupcake when she had first arrived. She tilted her head at Midna's warning about the bots' potential involvement, though. "Do I want to know?"

"They spiked the punch at Christmas," Midna explained. "It ended up being an embarrassing morning for a lot of people the next day."

"That bad, huh?" Wilykit asked, amused. To be honest, though, spiking the punch sounded downright tame compared to some of the shenanigans she and her brother had gotten into in the past. The key difference being, of course, that nobody would let them anywhere near any alcohol in the first place.

"Not for me; I didn't end up drinking it, but for a few people," Midna said, smirking.
