[Pinkie's announcement after Discord's defeat wasn't just hot air. As soon as five minutes after the chaos god's last cry echoed throughout the ship, there's already music blaring out the open doors of the recreation deck. As if in defiance of Discord's attack on her there, Pinkie's filled the place with even MORE balloons than typical for one of her parties. Above the main refreshment table - which is clearly the one with the biggest cake on it - there's a few banners. The topmost one reads SO LONG DISCORD! Right below it is a smaller one saying SORRY FOR BEING A MEANIE. The bottom one is a little larger and written in a different color HAPPY LATE HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY! In all the chaos, she'd completely FORGOTTEN a holiday; could you believe it? But she was totally going to make it up now, with a party to beat all parties!]

"True." She paused for a moment. "At least we're all back to normal, now."

Being a pony hadn't been bad once she got used to it, but she was used to this form. Having gone through one situation where she saw someone different in the mirror, waking up in a totally different form had given her a scare at first.

"Yeah. I have admit, flying wasn't bad," he mused, "But if I have to choose between flying and having thumbs, I'll take the thumbs."

Among other things. Having to shift to a completely vegetarian diet hadn't set well with him either. But those had really been his biggest problems with the whole affair.

"Flying would be nice." Xion said thoughtfully, then she smiled. "But you never realize how much you use your hands for until you can't, huh?"

She hadn't minded the veggies too much, though so much of the same thing to eat had started to get boring.

"No, you don't. Like Lea's little incident with the soda bottle." Which had been funny, but also illustrated the point, "But, I guess griping about stuff like that won't really help."

It had gotten a bit boring. It had also just been weird after a more omnivorous diet.

She nodded. "Or what Riku pointed out about the door handles." Thinking of how many mouths had been on those had been a bit unnerving. But, as Roxas has said, complaining wouldn't help. "At least it's over now."

Roxas made a face at being reminded about the door handles.

"I gotta say, this place does keep you on your toes."

And if the place itself didn't, some of the inhabitants would.

"It really does. You never know what's going to happen next." She paused, looking thoughtful. "Though it's not all bad."

Most of the people were nice, even if they were a little strange.

"That's true. We've met some interesting people... though, I think I would have liked to meet them under better circumstances."

To put it mildy. In some ways, this situation was better than what he'd come from. In others, worse. Either way, what was done was done and there wasn't much he could do about it except deal with it as best he could.

And dealing with things right now meant enjoying the party, which for Roxas seemed to mean kicking back with some snacks and watching everyone else make fools of themselves... as long as they were in their right minds to start with.

For Xion, this situation was mostly better than the one she'd left, with few drawbacks. She would have liked to be able to use her Keyblade and magic, but it was nice to make new friends and spend time with her old ones.

"I guess so. This isn't exactly the most peaceful satellite, after all."

But, good situation or not, spending time with friends was the priority, and having fun at the party was the best way to do that. She settled in to watch the others along with Roxas.

Roxas could probably also say that his current situation was better, if at least because he was no longer just a voice in someone else's head. They just needed one more person...

He sighed, not wanting to go any further into that line of thinking, "It certainly hasn't been dull."

On the other hand, besides the shades and Discord, it hasn't been dangerous either.

Had he mentioned that, Xion would have agreed with him. Just one more person to make the group feel complete...

"It never is, at least, not since I got here."

With so many new people to meet, even the more peaceful times here were never boring.

"Maybe that's for the better," Roxas remarked, thinking. Yes, he was thinking of that 'vacation' day that had occurred when he'd been with the Organization for a couple months. After doing little besides work, eat and sleep, having a day with no work had been confounding, especially when he'd had no memory of any leisure activities. Now, at least, he had a better idea of how to occupy himself.

Fortunately, the Mads seemed to be overlooking to possibilities of true boredom for driving people insane.

They really were lucky the Mads hadn't thought of the "boredom" tactic, yet. Xion remembered that day, too--though she'd worked out a little, she hadn't been able to think of anything else. Here she was getting more ideas, but the confusion of the events at least gave her something to focus on other than "what to do today."

"It probably is." She chuckled. "Though I think a few of the others might start trying to entertain us if it got too dull."

Not that those she was thinking of didn't try to entertain them already...

"I think some of the people here are part of the reason it's never dull." Of course, some down time might be nice, too. Roxas had spent the better part of the week as a pony certain that either Sora or Ven was going to get hurt with all the stunts they were trying. Ven may not have liked it, but Discord may have actually done him a favor by taking away his wings.

"True. Pinkie Pie likes any reason to have a party, it seems." It wasn't the reason he'd been thinking of, though Xion had been a little worried about those two as well.

Some down time would be nice; not just to think of ways to occupy herself, but to have a chance to think quietly.

"That's not a bad thing." There was a lot to worry about with those two, though if Roxas knew that Xion was concerned about them as well, he would have asked why.

For now, though, he settled in on more people watching. This was itself a bit of downtime, though it wasn't exactly quiet.

"Not at all." Xion had only been worried that they might try more stunts and get even more hurt.

She settled in to people watch with him, so long as he didn't mind having some company.

There was a very good chance they'd find some other way to get hurt, but Roxas kept that to himself. It really wasn't a good topic for party conversation.

No, he didn't mind the company at all.
