[If you are planning a battle between two specific characters, please mark your thread as Closed to those characters. If you are posting an open thread for anyone to tag into, please mark your thread as Open.]
Crow was pretty excited here...he finally got to fly around the SOL on his own, like a real crow! And now that he and everyone else had turned into weird battle monsters, or 'Pokemon' as Harvey had said, there was sure to be a whole bunch of fun fights that he could watch! ...And perhaps, participate in, if he was feeling up to it. He could definitely kick Servo’s butt in these kinds of battles, anyway.
So, he had staked himself out in the rafters near the top of the recreation deck, holding a small prop microphone in his claws. If there was one thing he excelled at, it was hilarious commentary!
“Allllllrighty, let’s see who’s gonna come out on top on this week’s colorful battle monster tournament of PAIN!”

Re: Open! ...Anyone up for trying 2-on-2?
Right at that moment, though, he was looking for Riku because he was still mildly irked about the week before. Collective dream or mass hallucination or whatever it was, Riku had been very annoying and Roxas hadn't forgotten that. Nor had he forgotten that he'd demanded a serious talk when the week was over. The fact that they were suddenly bizarrely cute battling monsters wasn't going to deter him, though he did wonder how exactly to open such a discussion...
(Hopefully we'll get another 2 in here! XD; )
And he waited for Roxas to lay into him not with some special attack, but with words.
We'll see?
The blond little fluffball sighed. Could this get anymore awkward? The only thing he had left to say to Riku out of everything that he'd been thinking of saying since this incident would sound like whining. Then again, maybe it'd lead into a good argument that would feel like nothing too weird had ever happened.
"You were a pain in the butt last week, you know."
It was a lame start, but at least it was a start.

His ears turned back a little as he averted his gaze to Roxas's feet... Or paws, rather. His own paw went to his hip as he habitually tried to slide a thumb into a pocket that didn't exist. He settled for putting his paw on his hip. Riku's voice sounded heavy with either guilt or embarrassment. Possibly both.
"I know."
It wasn't much of a reply, but it was all he had.

"I guess things could have been worse."

"At least it wasn't. I didn't get everything."

Still, no one's behavior last week was entirely their fault.
"Did everyone get their stuff back?" He was teasing a little bit with that question. The idea of Riku being terrified of a color to the point where he felt he needed to protect everyone from it had its amusing points.
One down, one to go!
Not that it stopped Wilykit from neatly leaping right into the middle of it in an attempt at breaking the awkward silence.
"What's the blindfold for?" she asked, waving a paw in Riku's line of sight (being too small to actually reach his face at the moment).
WHOOOO
no subject
"Really? Cool! How did that work? And why'd you have to hide your eyes? Did the light hurt them or something?"
...Yeah, she was probably going to be at this for a while.

Though Riku didn't know the answer to the first question, he also didn't attempt to reply to it. His reply came simply, softly, and with a deep tone. He looked up at nothing in particular.
"My eyes couldn't lie."
no subject
Kit opened her mouth to ask Riku what exactly he meant about his eyes not being able to lie, but thought better of it. Whatever it was, it was obviously a very painful memory for him. Instead, she just gave a quiet little "Oh..." in response.
