Rockin' Around The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree [OPEN]
Characters: Anyone and everyone!
Content: Get your Christmas Party on!
Location: The Weapons Deck
Time of day: Evening of Christmas Day, after people have gotten presents
Warnings: None...for now...
[Since the Weapons Deck is totally empty, Mike and the Bots have taken it upon themselves to transform it for a rockin’ good Christmas Party! The Charlie Brown Tree has been safely set aside too; all decorated up. There’s a table with punch, food and way too many desserts for any group of people to handle, a bunch of Christmas decorations thanks to Rarity and her decorating crew, and even Christmas music that’s only slightly annoying!
Characters are free to come in and grab food, mingle, play games, exchange gifts or stories...whatever they want! Obviously, treat this thread as party-style.
There’s one more special note...there’s a couple bowls of punch sitting next to a big pan of Green Bean Casserole of Tranquility. Unfortunately, Crow accidentally mixed in some leftover Waters of Forgetfulness to make the punch. That water, combined with the spicy punch flavoring, has created an unusual concoction. If your characters drink some of this punch, they won’t notice anything wrong...at least yet!]

She smiled at his question, though. "Roxas and I talked."
no subject
That was good, at least. They probably needed to talk, although what two Nobodies like them would talk about, Sora wasn't sure. After his conversation with Xion, perhaps it was better if he didn't know.

There was plenty she and Roxas--or she and Xion--could talk about, but that wasn't for now. She'd rather to handle that on her own, anyway.

"Oh, and what'd you get from Santa, too?"
no subject
Her expression brightened a bit at Sora's question. "I got some new art supplies--good ones, too. The ones on the theatrical deck break so easily."
no subject
"Santa got me this plush dog and duck!" Sora said, thankful that Santa had actually remembered him (and forgiven him for not believing in him.) While obviously it wasn't the same as having Donald and Goofy actually here, it was a bit of a nice reminder of their adventures.

She examined the plushies, smiling. Trust Santa to bring something Sora that might help him feel a bit closer to friends who weren't here. "They look a lot like them, don't they?"

She was still a beginner at sewing, but Galadriel had taught her the basics for clothes. Maybe she could ask Rarity to help her as well.

Sora took another drink of the punch, and a wide grin spread over his face. Having his friends here, it being Christmas...it just made him feel so excited and happy!

Namine smiled in response to Sora's grin. Christmas had come and gone unnoticed while she was in Twilight Town, so it was nice to get a chance to celebrate it here.

Sora felt himself getting happier by the minute, for reasons he couldn't seem to explain. Everything about it was exciting! "So have you tried the punch yet? Or cookies! Or there's brownies, too!"
no subject
Sora's happiness was a bit catching, and Namine found herself matching his grin with one of her own. "I've tried the cookies and brownies, but not the punch."
no subject
He took another drink from his own cup. "You should, it's really good!" The happiness was catching on even more and more...perhaps beyond even Sora's usual cheerfulness. As if to prove this point, he let out a quick burst of laughter.
no subject
Namine held up her cup of root beer to show why she hadn't tried the punch yet. "Maybe later."
Sora's laugh surprised her--she didn't think anything they'd said was that funny. Now that she thought about it, he was being more cheerful than usual. The fact that it was Christmas might explain some of that, but..."Sora, are you feeling okay?"
no subject
"Sure, I feel super! Why wouldn't I? It's Christmas!" he said, trying to hide another laugh. This was just such a great holiday, with his friends here and this food and atmosphere...he just wanted to do something with everyone!

It might be an odd suggestion, but even if they got loud, at least no one would get hurt. In fact, it might get the attention of someone who could help her.

And then Sora burst into song...using the full volume on his voice, as if he were singing to an audience in a theater rather than the person in front of him. "JINGLE BELLS! JINGLE BELLS! JINGLE ALL THE WAA-AAAY! OH WHAT FUN IT IS TO RIDE, IN A ONE-HORSE OPEN SLEE-IIGH!"
no subject
"Jingle bells, jingle bells..."
no subject
"DASHING THROUGH THE SNOOOW -Come on, louder!- IN A ONE-HORSE OPEN SLEEEEIGH..."
no subject
"O'er the fields we go, laughing all the way.."
