Rockin' Around The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree [OPEN]
Characters: Anyone and everyone!
Content: Get your Christmas Party on!
Location: The Weapons Deck
Time of day: Evening of Christmas Day, after people have gotten presents
Warnings: None...for now...
[Since the Weapons Deck is totally empty, Mike and the Bots have taken it upon themselves to transform it for a rockin’ good Christmas Party! The Charlie Brown Tree has been safely set aside too; all decorated up. There’s a table with punch, food and way too many desserts for any group of people to handle, a bunch of Christmas decorations thanks to Rarity and her decorating crew, and even Christmas music that’s only slightly annoying!
Characters are free to come in and grab food, mingle, play games, exchange gifts or stories...whatever they want! Obviously, treat this thread as party-style.
There’s one more special note...there’s a couple bowls of punch sitting next to a big pan of Green Bean Casserole of Tranquility. Unfortunately, Crow accidentally mixed in some leftover Waters of Forgetfulness to make the punch. That water, combined with the spicy punch flavoring, has created an unusual concoction. If your characters drink some of this punch, they won’t notice anything wrong...at least yet!]

He gave the punch a wary look, if only because he'd heard far too many stories from other members of the Organization about some humiliating thing or another that had happened to their Others at parties where something odd was done with the punch. Roxas decided he'd wait and let someone else try it first. If it was okay, then he would have some. Other wise, there probably safer options.

But he wasn't going to let anyone see that. A party sounded like a good distraction, so he made his way down to the weapons deck and try to have some fun. After loitering at the food tables for a while, he noticed the young man by the punch bowls and wandered over.
"Someone already get to the punch? Kind of early for that, isn't it?"

Noticing Roxas, she smiled faintly. "Hi, Roxas."

He sighed and headed for the food table. Surely, Pinkie Pie would have made some extra special treats for a party on this holiday. Terra's mind wandered away from delicious cookies and slices of cake, however, when he saw who else had decided to check out the food table. He had to remind himself that it was Roxas, not Ven, who stood before him and the resemblance was even more uncanny now that Terra was seeing him face to face and not just through Cambot.
He debated not saying hello at first but decided that was rude and came over anyway, "Hey, Roxas. Merry Christmas."

Twirling the nerf gun in his hand, Lea smirked as he let rest on his shoulder, “Pretty sweet gift huh?”

Dressed in the dress she got for Christmas (http://i44.tinypic.com/vhb9zn.png), Minako's Roxas radar immediately picked him out. Within seconds, she was next to him, her winningest smile planted on her face.
"Hi!!"

The normally bare-and-sterile-looking Weapons Deck had been made a lot more festive-looking thanks to some of the more creative types around the ship. Sora was, as always, eager to socialize a bit. So he headed over to the snacks table and grabbed up a cup of punch and took a sip of it, looking around for anyone new.

When he saw that Sora had gotten some punch, he almost decided to put off talking to him until he saw whether or not it did anything weird to him, but decided it couldn't be any worse than the homecoming party his family had thrown where Tidus had slipped something odd into Sora's drink. Actually, it could be funny, given that Roxas didn't have to share the effects this time.
"Having fun yet?" That was lame, but he was pretty sure Sora wouldn't care about that.

Isa was still stuck in rhyme mode from earlier, but unfortunately he couldn't keep his mouth shut all the time.

Waiting for Sora to finish the sip, Riku walked up behind him and tapped him on the head with the tip of one of the nerf swords he'd inexplicably received. He'd gotten a set of two, one primarily red (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110206041634/nerf/images/thumb/f/f1/Hertyret.jpg/489px-Hertyret.jpg) in color, the other mostly black with yellow detailing. (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111210000212/nerf/images/d/d5/Yellowmarauder.jpg) "Hey Sora."

She spotted Sora as she made her way down the line of treats. Waiting until she was close enough for him to hear her when she spoke normally, she said. "Hello, Sora. Oh wait! It's 'Merry Christmas,' right?"

She fussed over the skirt of the red dress she found in her closet - she was so used to wearing pants that everything else felt a little weird - and found herself a seat by the little tree, now in full flourish, as to be expected by now. It looked like there weren't a whole lot of people here yet, so she took this time to just take in the atmosphere, sipping a can of Mountain Dew and watching the small mingling crowd. Mike and the bots planned this, so whatever happened tonight was going to be interesting, to say the least.

Unfortunately, it seemed that he was having a hard time locating said alcohol. All he seemed to be coming across was a bunch of desserts, a sketchy looking casserole, and a bowl of boring ass, probably not-spiked punch.
Whatever, punch would do. He got himself a cup, and after scanning the area for someone to annoy (mainly one Boyscout McCloud, but alas, he seemed to be absent as of yet), he decided to stroll on over to Liz and comment on shit that wasn't any of his business.
"Never thought I'd catch you in a skirt."

He'd meant to get the thing set up before the big crowds showed up, but at the sight of Iron sitting alone by the tree, he paused. She didn't look particularly happy, did she? Harvey glanced once around the room and, not seeing Linkara anywhere nearby, went over to grab a seat by Liz. "Hey, kid," he greeted her, setting the machine on the ground between them. "You look nice."

It helped that there were snacks to eat while she did so. The cake and cookies weren't up to Pinkie Pie's standard, but still good.

"Hey." Not that he had any idea what he even wanted to talk about... But quiet company was okay too, if she didn't mind.

Out of nowhere, she pulled a huge blanket-covered form - which, as she whisked the blankets away, was revealed to be a very large blue-and-yellow cannon pointed right at the center of the room. Pinkie gave the string on the back a quick yank with her teeth, and with a loud BANG the target area suddenly sported its own small table, draped in streamers, confetti, and balloons and bearing a rather large cake. "YEEEEEEEAH~! LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" Pinkie shouted triumphantly, before vaulting over the party cannon to dive face-first into the cake. Behind her, the party cannon released a second shower of cupcakes and gingerbread ponies over the general area of the room. That new multi-fire function had been the BEST idea.

He approached the cake covered pony with caution. He had seen the present she had left for him and was rather touched by the fact that she had gotten him something. Christmas was not exactly a tradition in Atlantis and so it had not occurred to him to start getting gifts until he had seen some of the other gifts being exchanged.
His thoughts were interrupted when the second blast went off and several gingerbread ponies pelted Kaldur in the head. He caught one in his hand and looked down at the pony, "For someone who arrived late you certainly know how to make an entrance."

He headed back to the party in this get-up, a large sack stuffed with presents tossed over his shoulder. It had been difficult to get all of this together, especially since he didn't know all of the kids that well, but he was confident in making this as convincing as possible.
Maes Hughes stepped through the door and cried out, "HO HO HO! Merry Christmas, everyone!"
no subject
"You sure came a long way to get out here, didn't you Santa?" There was an underlying tone of sarcasm that anyone who knew him would be sure to catch. It was clear he knew exactly who this man in a red coat was, and that it didn't surprise Riku much to see the man dress like this. Still, there was no point in ruining any kids' fun on the holiday, so he played along.

Melted cheese? Check.
Salsa? Check.
Safety glasses? Check. The box is flat out labeled "safety glasses", how convenient!
And the nacho launcher is ready. Phineas is all set up to have fun snacks with anyone that's interested!

Unfortunately, he realizes there are probably people here who could possibly blow his cover. So he keeps an eye out for them as well. He needs to make sure that Phineas finds out about none of what he has been doing on board the SoL and the more people that find out he's not as dumb as he looks, the harder that will be.
Perry huffs and flops down near the Christmas tree. Might as well watch for a little bit, see what happens around here at Christmas.

[This is the part where Liz has drunk the punch and is now entirely high on life. If you comment on this thread, Liz has just bounced up to your character - yes, I do mean bounced - and given them the biggest hug ever (even if she doesn't know them!), possibly swinging them around a bit if they're small and light enough for her to lift them. From there, expect her to be very loud, very hyper, and very obnoxious. FUN 8DDDD]
